Volunteering

Our mission is to provide compassionate care, and volunteers help us fulfill the Mission of the Sisters of Mercy and Emory Healthcare. Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital family values the time you give and the service you provide our patients and those who care for them.

Adult Volunteers

Adult volunteers are asked to commit to four hours of service per week for one year or 100 hours. For more information, please call678-843-7292.

Summer VolunTEEN Program

Our Summer 2022 VolunTEEN program will be conducted exclusivelyonlinewith opportunities to participate in interactive Zoom webinars presented by healthcare professionals across the Emory Healthcare system. Service hours will be granted for all attended webinars upon successful completion of evaluations.

Summer 2022 VolunTEEN Program Requirements:

  • High School Student (ages 16-18 years; aged 16 by June 1, 2022)
  • Participate in a virtual interview
  • Attend Virtual Orientation on either Wednesday, May 26th at 6:00 pm OR Thursday, June 2nd at 1:00 pm.
  • Attend a minimum of six interactive Zoom webinars over the six-week program

  • Attend the Virtual Closing Ceremony on July 26th at 3:00 pm.
  • Must register for all Zoom events, including the Opening and Closing Ceremonies
